Rule 8-105. Reporting Requirements.

On or before January 31 of each year, each active member shall make and file an Annual Report with the Commission in such form as the Commission shall prescribe, reporting compliance with Rule 8-104.

Regulations

(1) Annual Report. The CCLC shall mail the prescribed annual report to non-exempt active members of the State Bar of Georgia at the end of each year.

(2) Filing Requirement. An attorney whose hours are not complete must sign and return the Annual Report to the CLE office by January 31st. An attorney who based on the Commission's records has timely completed all the required 12 CLE hours, including the 1 ethics hour and 1 professionalism hour, does not need to return the Annual Report. In either case it is the responsibility of the attorney to correct any mistakes in the report and return it to the CLE office by January 31st.

(3) Late Filing Fee. An attorney, who, for whatever reason, files the annual report after the January 31st due date shall pay a $50.00 late filing fee. This payment shall be submitted with the Annual Report. An Annual Report that is either received by the CCLC or postmarked on or before January 31st shall be considered to have been timely filed.
