Section 9. Election Committee

The Election Committee shall conduct the election, count or supervise the counting of the ballots, and report the results on the date determined according to Section 14 of this Article under procedures established by the Board of Governors. The Election Committee may utilize State Bar staff and facilities and may employ impartial accounting and clerical assistance as necessary.

In computing the number of votes constituting a majority of those cast in each election, the Committee shall exclude from the computation the votes cast for a "write-in" candidate receiving less than two percent of the total votes cast.
