Section 1. Amendments

The bylaws of the Young Lawyers Division may be amended only at any meeting of the Young Lawyers Division by motion made in writing to the president at least thirty days prior to the meeting. Copies of the motion containing the proposed amendment shall be mailed to all members of the Section as least twenty days prior to the meeting. The motion to amend shall then be voted upon at the meeting and shall require a majority vote of those present for adoption. The provisions of this Section imposing certain time requirements may be waived with the unanimous consent of all members present at any meeting.
