Section 1 Qualification for Membership
All members of the State Bar of Georgia who have been admitted to
practice in their first bar within the past five years, or are less
than thirty-six years old, are automatically members of the Young
Lawyers Division. The Division consists of those young lawyers who are
members in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia. Membership in the
Division continues until and through the first annual meeting following
a young lawyer's thirty-sixth birthday, or the fifth anniversary of the
young lawyers' admission to his or her first bar year.
