Section 4. President-elect
The president-elect shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the
president, the membership at any regular meeting or by the Executive
Council. During any period in which the president is unable to act, the
president-elect shall perform the duties of president.
There should be continuity in the program of the Young Lawyers Division
for the benefit of the public and the legal profession, and it shall be
the duty of the president-elect, not only to participate actively in
the program of the Young Lawyers Division during his or her term, but
also to plan the program for the year in which he or she shall act as
president, and to make needed arrangements for the prompt inauguration
of the program upon assuming office and to prevent interruption in the
continuing program then being carried on by the Young Lawyers Division.
