General Membership Information

The Membership Department updates all membership computer records with changes or payments; prepares annual dues notices and processes income; furnishes labels and demographics regarding members and sections; prepares the alphabetical and geographical portions of the State Bar Directory & Handbook; prepares letters of good standing for members upon written request at a nominal charge of $15; furnishes membership enrollment packets to all new attorneys and enrolls them accordingly; sends out notices for YLD-sponsored mass swearing-in ceremonies for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and Federal Court; sends out notices of judicial vacancies for the Judicial Nominating Commission; and administers State Bar elections under the direction of the Elections Committee.
