    Annual Fiction Writing Contest - Jan. 19 Deadline
    The editorial board of the Georgia Bar Journal is pleased to announce its 16th Annual Fiction Writing Contest. The purposes of this competition are to enhance interest in the Journal, to encourage excellence in writing by members of the Bar and to provide an innovative vehicle for the illustration of the life and work of lawyers.     Commitment to Equality Awards Cocktail Reception - Jan. 23
    The Women & Minorities in the Profession Committee of the State Bar of Georgia invite you to attend the Commitment to Equality Awards Cocktail Reception on Jan. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Bar Center in Atlanta.     Free Online Legal Research Offered Through the State Bar
    Did you know that Casemaker, an online legal research tool, is available free of charge to all Bar members as part of their membership? Come learn about this powerful resource at one of our trainings. Casemaker training classes will be offered at the Bar Center on Jan. 23 and Jan. 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each session is limited to the first 10 attendees. Download the registration form and fax it to Jodi McKenzie at 404-287-8392. Please register for the class by 12 p.m. the day before the class is scheduled.

    Casemaker Training in Brunswick, Ga.
    A Casemaker training session will be taking place in Brunswick, Ga., sponsored by the Brunswick-Glenn County Bar Association and the Coastal Georgia Community College. There will be two classes, 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. that will take place at the college on Wednesday, Jan. 31.     Law Practice Management Enews Tip
    Retrieving Deleted E-mail in Outlook
    Did you know you can retrieve e-mails that have been deleted from the "Deleted Items" folder? This is an easy process:

    1. Select the "Deleted Items" folder in Microsoft Outlook.
    2. Select the "Tools" menu.
    3. Select "Recover Deleted Items."
    4. In the new window, select the e-mails you want to recover.
    5. Select the yellow envelope on the top of the window.
    6. The e-mails you selected will now be available in your "Deleted Items" folder.
    E-mail will be retrievable this way up to 90 days after being removed out of the "Deleted Items" folder.
