Aspiring Youth Program
This committee assists at-risk middle school students by increasing their aspirations to graduate from high school and college by demonstrating the importance of education, hard work and commitment. All program activities take place during the "latch-key" hours when youths are most often unsupervised and include tutorials, mentoring, study groups, programs directly related to issues facing teenagers today and recreation time. Young lawyers serve as positive role models while developing mentoring relationships with the students. This program meets twice a year: Two afternoons weekly for six weeks in the fall and in the spring.
