Pursuant to an agreement executed on December 30, 2016, between the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia, an unincorporated Georgia nonprofit association, and the State Bar of Georgia Foundation, Inc. a Georgia nonprofit corporation, the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the State Bar of Georgia (“ICLE”) is hereby established as a program of the State Bar of Georgia. The purpose of ICLE is to promote a well-organized, properly planned, and adequately supported program of continuing legal education by which members of the legal profession may enhance their skills, keep abreast of developments in the law, ethics, and professionalism, engage in the study and research of the law, and disseminate the knowledge thus obtained.
