Why you should attend

In February 2016, a groundbreaking study published by the American Bar Association and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation served as a national wakeup call for the legal profession. Specifically, the study found we attorneys often resort to maladaptive behaviors to deal with our stresses and do so at a higher rate than other professions. The Georgia Bar is no different, with members' challenges ranging from uncontrolled anxiety to depression to suicide. The great news is that our Bar actively promotes attorney wellness, and seasoned Bar members are willing to share how they successfully navigate the stresses of the practice. Join us in an insightful discussion as our panelists share their skills around sustaining happiness, resilience, and meaning in the practice, while providing practical and substantive tools that improve well-being.

Space is limited. ICLE cannot guarantee admission to onsite registrants. Early registration closes 48 hours before the seminars held at State Bar of Georgia offices. Materials for these courses are provided in digital form. Meals may not be available for walk in registrants.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations reaching ICLE by 5PM the day before the seminar date will receive a registration fee refund less a $25.00 administrative fee. Otherwise, the registrant will be considered a “no show” and will not receive a registration fee refund. ICLE will email a digital link to class materials to every “no show.” As a courtesy to speakers and other attendees in this educational setting, we do not allow children at seminars.
